What comes to your mind when you think of summers? Sun! Humidity! Beaches! Summer body!? Well, the first thing which comes to my mind, when thinking about summers is ‘Mango’. Red, green and Yellow; sweet and sour; raw and ripe; different forms and these are just textures and tastes. If we talk about the variety that mango contains, it’s a long list. I can name some for you: Carabao from Philippines (world’s best mango), Alphonso from India (India’s best mango), Graham from Trinidad, Haden from Mexico, Francis from Haiti and Keitt from United States, the list goes on. I got a Mocktail related to mangoes, which I recently invented. An original. “Mango Twister”. Let’s talk about it.

Ingredients

Directions

Lemonade

1

In a jar add juice of 1/2 lemon, 2 tsp of sugar, a pinch of salt, 1/2 cup water and mix well until everything dissolves properly. Lemonade is ready!

Mocktail

1

In a mixer grinder/blender add mango, coconut milk, sugar syrup, lemonade, ice cubes and blend into a smooth pulpy liquid. If too thick, add water.

Garnishing and serving

1

In 2 plates place sugar and red chilly powder, separately.

2

Moisten the Mocktail glass rim with the lemon wedge.

3

Next dip the glass rim first in sugar then in red chilly powder, ensuring that the entire rim gets well coated. Repeat for all the glasses.
