Sharad purnima special Rice kheer ..

Today is Sharad Purnima. According to tradition, we make rice kheer in our country and keep it in the moonlight. In the morning, the whole family enjoys it together. Today I am telling the method of rice kheer which is different from traditional kheer.

 Rice - 200 grams
  Milk - 2 liters
  Sugar - 125 grams
  Dryfruit - cashew, almonds, raisins 100 grams
  Some thread saffron , Small cardamom powder half tea spoon
  Pure Ghee - 30/40 grams

First wash the rice thoroughly and dry it in the fan air for 5 minutes.

Now pour ghee in the pan and lightly fry the dry fruit. Keep the dry fruit aside. Soak saffron in 2 tablespoons milk.

In the same pan in which the dry fruit was roasted, put rice in the same ghee and roast the rice until it is light brown, then add milk and cook on low heat till thick and add sugar.

Finally add dryfruit cardamom and saffron.
